Weddings are full of traditions, and we have added our own special touches to make the day uniquely ours. We want you to enjoy the day as much as we will! So we do have a few, easy to follow requests to make the day as stress-free as possible:
We have invited you to our special day and you might feel you want to get us something special to mark the big day. What we would really love is to start our married life off with adventure! That is why we are asking that instead of getting us matching Mr and Mrs cups or a slow cooker, we would love to put that money towards a year of adventures whether that be in the UK or somewhere further afield.
We love that you may want to share our day with your friends! However, we kindly request that you do not post any images on social media until we do (Don't worry, the family group chat is fine).
Imagine watching Avengers: Endgame for the first time, for the person directly in front of you to be videoing the entire thing, and then for their phone to block your view whilst Tony Stark sacrifices his life to defeat Thanos and save the universe. It's not great and it's not fun, this is why we kindly request that you leave your phone safely stowed in a bag or pocket and on silent for the duration of the ceremony.
If you didn't understand the above, just know that the ceremony will be 'Unplugged' we don't need you to capture the moments for us, there's a photographer that we are paying for that. And no, we don't care how good your iPhone or Google Pixel camera is.
